King Birtram of Binn spends his days keeping a watchful eye on his kingdom. With the help of a legion of Patrol Cats, he cares for the mighty Dike Trees that prevent the kingdom from flooding. He protects their roots from giant blackbirds called Nizzards who find the trees a tempting treat. Each afternoon, after a long day of work, the king is ready to play and races around the palace on a pair of red stilts. Then one day the stilts are stolen! All havok breaks out causing the king to neglect his royal duties. It's not until the stilts are finally returned that things get back to normal and the king finds a loyal friend to share in his afternoon fun!
